UIMD was founded in 2015 as an affiliated company of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. From early on we utilized the hospital’s medical expertise in hematology to develop our own AI-based image analyzer for hematology. Through real world use and feedback from real world deployment, we have upgraded the throughput and accuracy performance beyond current competition. And to further improve user experience, we are developing the Manual Review Center program to allow remote viewing and additional classification assistance. Additionally, we provide specialized education program for white blood cell classification in analytical hematology setting.
UBMA-12 is an in-vitro diagnostic device for peripheral blood and bone marrow analysis based on artificial intelligence. It automatically locates viable cells on a given slide and produces high-quality cell images. With UIMD support software, UBMA-12A becomes a part of a simplified and automated digital cell morphology workflow.
