The database over 60,000 samples, resulting in over 5,000 different viral sequences is the resource for designing the HIV and hepatitis diagnostic tests. The global surveillance program has been established for development of “best-in-class” assays and will contribute to improve the quality and reliability of testing with continued collaboration with research and clinical foundations.

Differentiation of myocardial injury and myocardial infarction, along the Fourth Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction guidelines, will be discussed, and the performance of hs-cTn assays in early rule-out and rule-in algorithms will be examined.
